Think about the most radical, outrageous people you know, or don't know. What do they have in common? What makes them abhorrent, no matter which side they're peddling for?
Their communication delivery manners are often deficient, low level, too crude, too rude, seemingly out of touch, insensitive, aggressive, and violent.
The fact that you might be seduced, or put off, by such demeanor has nothing to do with the message being transmitted, it has to do with the delivery.
We live in a very strange time, where rude behavioral pattern type and demeanor is utmost attractive to people. In a way, it always been like that, because of politics and voters, but for a long time, good taste and manners were still important.
Not anymore. No one alive recall the time when taste and manners were a thing. Only readers immersed in classic literature may claim some knowledge of polite society. Very few people. Nowadays, elite and common people alike speak trash like, no difference, at least publicly.
Because the appearance of sophistication and refinement, the use of words some might not understand, the fact of offering nuanced argumentation, this is all something of the past. Anyone needing attention should now ponctuate any phrases with fucks, while being loud and not paying attention to anyone else.
These are the ways of the times we live in, and have been for some decades up to now, before marketers and politicians got at it, and ruined it. So we now have aggression on every channel, not just one man shows and movies.
This is a turning point, from which we will collectively start to promote some alternate ways of communicating, which will soon put to shame the actual agressive trash talkers.
Until marketers and politicians ruin it again. Until then, one thing might not change: the vacuity of their discourse. Because no matter the delivery style, content and substance is always lacking for some.
